His fascination with his Haitian Caribbean heritage, spanning both Haitian and Dominican Republic influences, catalyzed the development of a unique musical realm he affectionately terms "Haitian Jazz." This innovative fusion of cultural elements sets him apart in music.

After dedicating two years to music studies at the "Dominican Republic National Conservatory," Esli's talent and dedication were acknowledged with the esteemed "Presidential Scholarship" from Berklee College of Music. Notably, he was also granted a full tuition scholarship from AES Dominican Republic, enabling his participation in the Berklee Five Week program in 2019.

Esli's academic journey at Berklee centers on Music Performance and Contemporary Writing & Production. Beyond his instrumental prowess, he finds immense satisfaction in producing, mixing, and composing for his band, highlighting his versatility and multifaceted musical skills. An individual who thrives on the stage, Esli derives immense joy from performing at significant events organized by Berklee. His musical endeavors have recently led him to embark on the path toward obtaining a master's degree, with plans to pursue the Berklee Global Jazz program starting in September 2024.

In summary, Esli's artistic journey is a testament to his early immersion in music, diverse genre exploration, and profound connection to his Haitian Caribbean heritage. His recognition through scholarships, dedication to various aspects of music, and continued pursuit of advanced education all point toward a future as a dynamic and influential figure in music, particularly within the realm of "Haitian Jazz" and global jazz studies.
